Artificial grass on porches and terraces, the latest trend

It has been scientifically proven that the green color makes people feel happier. Good news for people who enjoy gardens, but if you don't have a plot of land to plant grass, sign up this summer's fashion for your terrace or porch: Artificial grass.

Although this material, similar to a carpet - it is made of vinyl and nylon - may remind you of your childhood miniature golf, it is very elegant when used strategically. Look at Kristin Jackson's porch of The Hunted Interior. After assessing several outdoor carpets, Kristin decided to place artificial grass.

A more chic idea for the summer: Place a removable pool or jacuzzi on the lawn and decorate with pink accessories and garlands.

... or bet everything on white, as on this roof.
