Cold kefir, egg and potato soup: Step by step

Legend has it that Kefir was a gift from Muhammad to the Orthodox monks of the Caucasus, but in reality it is known to be consumed for many more years ago. Muslims called kefir The grains of Prophet Muhammad and they regarded him as a manna from Allah.

INGREDIENTS (4 people):- 1/2 liter of kefir
- 2 potatoes
- 2 eggs
- Chives
- Fresh mint
- Fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cucumber
- Salt
- Pepper

Step 1

Peel potatoes. Put them in a pot on the fire with a little salt. Cook for 20-25 minutes and, once cooked, remove from heat and put in cold water. Dry them and cut as thin as possible; Reserve.

Step 2

Put a saucepan on the fire with water and a little salt. Pour 2 eggs and, once the water is boiling, cook the eggs 10-12 minutes. After that time, immerse them in cold water. Peel and chop finely.

Step 3

Peel and chop the cucumber. Put the kefir, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a tureen. Add water until a light cream is left. Add cucumber, potato, eggs and pepper. Sprinkle with herbs; to serve.
