The owners of this housing in Granada, a businessman and a nutritionist specializing in pregnant women, were eager to renew it with a view to the family they plan to train in the near future. The reform, designed by architect Álvaro Oliveros, consisted of join two small symmetrical apartments, of approximately 55 square meters, with the aim of generating a common and versatile space where you can enjoy the various day-to-day activities.

On the ground floor, one of the apartments was completely emptied, creating a generous central space that houses kitchen, living room and work area. This area connects in a friendly and open way through a continuous window with the outside area. Transversely the existing rooms on the symmetric space were modified to conceive two bathrooms, a master bedroom and a children's room, as well as storage space.

The living room and the terrace should look like the same room. Hence all the furniture is in oak, with lots of vegetation and mostly neutral tones, except for the brushstrokes of Bordeaux.
